Sophie
I adopted Sophie on my first day volunteering for All Bout Cats. My boyfriend was NOT happy, at first. But now we've had her for almost a year and she LOVES him more than me! She loves to put her front paws on his shoulders and rub his head - it is the cutest thing. My old lady cat, Tessa, was not happy at first either. But they have been through a huge move together (from FL to MI) and are now really close. I am so happy I brought Sophie home that day - she is a precious lit

Randell & Roger
Larry & Leroy are now Randell and Roger. They’re doing great. It took a week for my 2 younger females to except them. Now all 6 are eating together. Randell and Roger now touch noses with Ava and Lilli and they are sniffing each others butts. The boys love the porch. They love watching the fish; the stuffed mice with feather tails, balls that crunch, and chasing the laser. They are getting use to eating dry food instead of canned food. They get a few spoonfuls of canned food

Gilligan's Story
Lou L. was out on his boat by Fort DeSoto one day when he heard the helpless
cries of what sounded like a cat on Sister Key Island. As he drove the boat
closer, he saw much to his amazement, a tabby & white cat in the mangroves meowing his little heart out for help. He went ashore & picked up the helpless creature & took him to Gulfport Veterinary Hospital. Theycneutered, vaccinated, microchipped him & turned him over to All 'Bout Cats. Lou called the vet's office hoping

CAT LIVES MATTER – ALL LIVES MATTER
Last December ABC received an email blast from a high kill shelter a few hours north of here pleading for rescue groups to come & pull kitties from their overcrowded shelter. ABC sprang into action & we said we’d take 15 that needed to desperately get out of there, 13 were kittens. Being three weeks away from Christmas, we knew we could get them adopted! The shelter personnel were elated & offered to spay/neuter, vaccinate & microchip them so they could immediately go up for

Lizzy
We were done with the movies at Largo Mall. Had to get dog food so stopped at Pet Smart. What a surprise with the cute cats and kittens to adopt. I immediately liked the cute and tiny tuxedo kitten that was asleep in her kitty box. The lady let me hold her and I fell in love. My husband usually says no more pets. But he too liked her. So after the paperwork and home, we are getting our new family member adjusted. She purrs and is all over the bedroom. For now she is isolate

Adopted 2 Kitties!
I found All Bout Cats on adoptapet.com. I wanted to adopt a kitten but not through a shelter. I contacted Leslee at All Bout Cats and was able to visit the kitten the next day. I was ready to take her home immediately and adopted a second one on the spur of the moment! Cats being fostered in a private home makes all the difference. They roam freely there just as they would in your home, not locked up in a cage, making for an easier transition to their forever home. They are g

Echo
As a child and my younger adult years I've always had cats in my home. Somehow a couple decades went by without having a cat. About 7 months ago I decided to go online and start searching for a kitty to adopt. I can't even begin to tell you how many shelters and 1000's of cats that came up in my search. I was saddened to see so many unloved cats sitting in crates waiting to be adopted. As my search continued I ruled out "shelters." I knew I wanted a cat that was use to peop

Waylon & Willie
Waylon & Willie will be a year old in a few days, hard to believe it. They are a treasure to have, we get a laugh from watching them almost daily. These two are brothers with Tommy, a few stories down.
